How (Words) To Praise God Effectively In Prayers, Quotes & Verses

I love to pray to the Lord and most often I am offering prayers for assistance in something – health, provision, or even as an intercessory prayer for another one’s needs. Do you find that to be true with yourself? I know that our Heavenly Father loves to hear from us, but not only in the times of trial or testing; He loves to hear our praise and thanksgiving as well.

Some Of The Basic step you can follow for the best and effective prayers:
1. Start naming qualities or attributes for God, eg.:
"You are mighty!", "You are Omnipotent, my Father, my Lord!", "You are all and in all."

2. Thank Him:
"I thank you for all things (huge and tiny) in my life; You have provided all things for my good.", try saying some praises audibly.

"I thank and glorify You, Oh Father, God, for the gift and beauty of Creation and for creating and conforming my life to your will".

3. Think of Jesus' life:
"I exalt You for taking the form of a man to die on the cross in atonement for my sins and for rising again that I might share in Your life".

4. Let awareness soak in and enable you:
"I praise You for day to day life, and realizing that You gave Yourself brings gratitude for Your love that permeates my life." Try saying:

"I will not be afraid to admit my limited understandings of facts and truth". Consider:

"I praise you that my learning (and research) is an individual journey that I do not undertake all on my own in the Bible, but with fellow believers and the Holy Spirit to give greater order to my thoughts".

Here are some prayers that I have collected, most of them right from God’s own word.
1. Father, you are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God. You are my Creator and my Counselor, guiding me daily to make wise decisions. You are my Comforter in sorrow, pain, or distress. I praise you for drawing near to me when I draw near to you. You are El Roi, the God who sees me, and you are Eternal, Lord. You are my heavenly Father, and the father of the fatherless. How great are you and your faithfulness, God, day in and day out.

You are holy, yet you made a way for me to approach you. I praise you for being my Helper, and for your Holy Spirit's conviction, correction, and protection in my life. You are invisible, but I see you with eyes of faith. You are Jehovah God, and Jehovah Jireh, the One who provides for all my needs. I praise you as my Jehovah Rapha, my God who heals, and for being Jehovah Rah, My faithful Shepherd. You are not just King, but you are King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. And yes, you are Jesus, the name above all names.

With my whole heart I praise you, God. You are Messiah, the soon and coming King. You are omniscient; you know all things. You are omnipresent; everywhere at all times. You are my Peace, my Protector, and the High Priest who became my Redeemer and Sacrifice forever. You died to set me free; you rose again and gave me victory over death. No longer am I enslaved in sin; you are my Salvation, my Rescuer and my Refuge. You give me hope within.

I praise you because you are trustworthy and true. You are my Teacher, and your understanding and wisdom is beyond finite minds; you promise wisdom to me when I ask. You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Lord, I love that you delight in me and that you rejoice over me with singing. You know the number of hairs on my head, and you are always thinking of me.

You are preparing a place for me so that one day I will live with you forever. Maybe then—and only then—will I be able to praise you adequately in a way not possible here on earth—the way you truly deserve.

All my love, all my praise to you. Lord, oh, Lord. How excellent is your name in which I pray! Amen

2. Nothing is too hard for you. O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you! You show unfailing love to thousands, but you also bring the consequences of one generation’s sin upon the next. You are the great and powerful God, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. You have all wisdom and do great and mighty miracles. You see the conduct of all people, and you give them what they deserve. You performed miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt—things still remembered to this day! And you have continued to do great miracles in Israel and all around the world. You have made your name famous to this day. —Jeremiah 32:17-20

3. To God the Creator O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! (Psalm 8)

4. To God who Deserves all Glory and Praise. O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.  For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. (Psalms 95:1-6)

Bible Study Methods, Techniques, Tips & Plan For Yourself & Beginners

You’ve heard the saying, “Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.” It turns out this saying can also apply to learning how to study the Bible.

I’m grateful to have so many resources at our disposal… Bible studies, books, devotionals… but there is NOTHING like sitting down with a hot beverage and God’s word and receiving nourishment from Him for yourself. Okay, the beverage is optional :)

Someone else’s study may feed you for a day but when you know how to study the Bible yourself, you can feed yourself anytime, day or night, anywhere, for the rest of your life! You are always ready to refresh someone else with a word, in season and out, because you’ve allowed His word to dwell in you first… and not the dip and skip sort of way but in a rich manner.

Below are some best methods, techniques, tips which can help yo to better study and understand the Bible:
1. Choose a book of the Bible.
Learn the context, author, and audience of this book. This way, all of the verses you study using this method will be read within that framework.

I recommend starting with one of the Gospels or an Epistle (because, let’s be honest, if you’re using this method it’s probably not the season to dive into Numbers or Leviticus).

2. Pick a Person
There are 2,930 people mentioned in the Bible, and we can learn valuable lessons from studying their lives. Pick someone you would like to study, and using a concordance, a topical Bible or a proper-name index found in the back of some Bibles, look up every mention of that person.

Here are some questions to ask:
What were his or her outstanding character traits?
Was there a great crisis in his life? If so, how did he face it?
What was her experience with God?
Were any particular faults evident in his life?
Notice her prayer life, faith, service to God, knowledge of God's Word, courage in witnessing, and attitude toward the worship of God. What motivated these traits?

One of my favorite people of the Bible is Lydia. She caught my attention in Acts 16 because she sold purple cloth (purple is my favorite color).

But as I looked deeper, I was inspired by her faith and hospitality.

 3: Observation
Observation is the first and most important step in how to study the Bible. As you read the Bible text, you need to look carefully at what is said, and how it is said. Look for:

● Terms, not words. Words can have many meanings, but terms are words used in a specific way in a specific context. (For instance, the word trunk could apply to a tree, a car, or a storage box. However, when you read, “That tree has a very large trunk,” you know exactly what the word means, which makes it a term.)

● Structure. If you look at your Bible, you will see that the text has units called paragraphs (indented or marked ¶). A paragraph is a complete unit of thought. You can discover the content of the author’s message by noting and understanding each paragraph unit.

● Emphasis. The amount of space or the number of chapters or verses devoted to a specific topic will reveal the importance of that topic (for example, note the emphasis of Romans 9 and Psalms 119).
 ● Repetition. This is another way an author demonstrates that something is important. One reading of 1 Corinthians 13, where the author uses the word “love” nine times in only 13 verses, communicates to us that love is the focal point of these 13 verses.

● Relationships between ideas. Pay close attention, for example, to certain relationships that appear in the text:

—Cause-and-effect: “Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things” (Matthew 25:21).

4. Understand the Big Picture
Whatever methods you choose, always ask God to reveal Himself and speak to you through His Word. What does the passage you read teach you about God, and how can you apply it to your life?

Although the Bible was written by more than 40 authors and contains 66 books including poetry, history, letters and prophecy -- it all ultimately tells us God's story. So one way to study the Bible is to approach it with the intention of understanding the big picture.

In his book Quiet Talks on Prayer, S.D. Gordon explains that we should "begin at the first of Genesis, and read rapidly through by the page. Do not try to understand it all. You will not. Never mind that now. Just push on. Do not stop at the close of Genesis. Push on into Exodus. And so on into Leviticus. Now do not try to understand Leviticus the first time. You will not the 100th time perhaps. Get the drift of the book. And in it all be getting the picture of God."

One Bible paraphrase called The Message, developed by Eugene Peterson, is specifically designed to be read rather than studied. Put in common English, some editions of The Message leave out verse distinctions entirely.

When we read the Bible as a whole, we can see the bigger picture of God's redeeming plan.

5. Chapter Analysis
Last spring when we worked our way through the Women of the Word book club, my eyes were opened to this method of studying the Bible.

When we read with discerning eyes and ears, we truly understand that the Bible is a book about God and His glory, not about us.

Sure it speaks to us and is an example of how to live our lives for His glory, but ultimately the Bible reveals His plans, His glory, His promises and the work He has done and is continuing to do.

It’s not always easy reading it and sometimes the Bible feels offensive, especially in this day and age, but when we read the Bible through the eyes of God, we see the big picture of Him working through the ages.

 6: Interpretation
Interpretation is discovering the meaning of a passage, the author’s main thought or idea. Answering the questions that arise during observation will help you in the process of interpretation. Five clues (called “the five C’s”) can help you determine the author’s main point(s):

● Context. You can answer 75 percent of your questions about a passage when you read the text. Reading the text involves looking at the near context (the verse immediately before and after) as well as the far context (the paragraph or the chapter that precedes and/or follows the passage you’re studying).

● Cross-references. Let Scripture interpret Scripture. That is, let other passages in the Bible shed light on the passage you are looking at. At the same time, be careful not to assume that the same word or phrase in two different passages means the same thing.

● Culture. The Bible was written long ago, so when we interpret it, we need to understand it from the writers’ cultural context.

● Conclusion. Having answered your questions for understanding by means of context, cross-reference, and culture, you can make a preliminary statement of the passage’s meaning. Remember that if your passage consists of more than one paragraph, the author may be presenting more than one thought or idea.

How To Attract, Receive & Accepting Blessing From God (Bible Verses)

As we can read from various writting, God's specific reasons for extra blessings are promised (the original word in the Bible translated to English as "blessed" meant "happy"). This happiness/blessedness is presented in all nine beatitudes, from the fifth chapter of Matthew in The Bible (in the New Testament). Jesus Christ was speaking to his twelve apostles, hundreds of disciples and a crowd listening the best they could.

“Blessed is he who considers the poor; the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. The LORD will preserve him and keep him alive, and he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed” (Psalm 41:1–3).

“He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he gives of his bread to the poor” (Proverbs 22:9).

While it's not wrong to want to be blessed, the moment we chase after the blessing more that we do God, that's going to be a big problem. Consider Paul's warning:

"But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and harmful lusts, which drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is the root of all evil. While coveting after money, some have strayed from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." (1 Timothy 6:9-10)

Following are best steps or things to do/follow in order God to bless us in our life in this world:

1. Repent, be sorry for your bad deeds, accept responsibility, and be willing to change for the better. "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."(Matthew 5:4)

In this beatitude Jesus puts value on grief and repentance evidently that would be helping the suffering of others and grief for your own flaws. So mourn and--in the first beatitude--you were told to become humble, "smaller" in your own eyes, and rely on God.

Ordinary activities of life do not bring real joy, not like faith, hope and God's Love do. Daily life may leave you thinking: "If only I had ____" (fill in the blank); it leaves you feeling your regrets, for what has been lost: lost peace, joy, hope -- and you may find yourself with "a broken spirit" -- a hurting attitude about life.
Regret your past sins, such as your damages to others -- and the time that you may have been against or ignoring and lacking God's blessing. Forgiving others removes selfishness and the guilt of "self-centered" life.

2. Keep God's commandments

God loves to bless those who obey Him. While He's a fierce enemy to those who hate Him and commit sin, He's a wonderful Father and friend to all who love Him. He said in Exodus 20:6 that He loves "showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments."

3. Humble yourself as Jesus said:
"Blessed are the 'poor in spirit': for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."(Matthew 5:3) Read this and the other eight blessings for you as they were explained by Jesus, in Matthew 5, which are keys to unlocking such personal blessings.

Jesus promises that the poor in spirit can enter His Kingdom in this life! The Kingdom of God, Jesus said, "is within you" as Christ "lives there" -- as his presence, his Spirit, can be vital to you. Jesus said that "I must go to my Father"... [and shall] "send you another comforter to abide with you forever."
The words "poor in spirit" mean not finding special pleasure in yourself/your-life, and though you have been taught to be self-sufficient and proud of your reasoning and independence: still you may become smaller in your own eyes. If you are ready to depend on God's will for your blessings -- not ignoring God and not managing your own life and not making your choices all alone, not to be merely limited by "self", then you are ready to be blessed.

4. Be pure through faith. "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."(Matthew 5:8)
Purity is found by concentrating on and dedicating to and seeking to right what is wrong, first in your own life, by God's will and purpose. But realize that Jesus said, "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." (Matthew 7:5) -- which points out that one has to not judge others' behaviors, or be a hypocrite.

Your loving God will reward you in his presence by spiritual means. So it lets you "see" God, free from the pollution of mixed up desires in thoughts, words and deeds.
"Cleanse your mind; clean up your act" and in the fullest sense as God himself removes your desire for impure thinking and impure ways of acting. God purifies your being from the inside.
"Seeing" God: knowing him as your Father (by being in His presence) is the blessing promised in this beatitude.

5. Honor your parents
This has been forgotten by many. God wants us to honor our father and mother no matter how imperfect they may be. When we do that, we are promised that our "days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you." (see Exodus 20:12)

6. Giving
“Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops” (Vs. 9) – When we give God the “firstfruits of our crops”, we are giving Him our best in terms of our time, money, and talent.  We honor Him when we have a generous heart and give God the best that we have to offer.  As a result, “your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.”

When we follow God’s principles in life, we can prepare ourselves to receive all of His blessings.  He loves us more than we can possibly imagine and He wants nothing more than to give us happiness and fulfillment in this life, but we have to do our part.  Praise Him for his goodness and for His grace today, and thank Him for all of your blessings already received, and the ones yet to come.

7. Ask God for it
Why be jealous of other Christians when we can ask our Father God to bless us too? James tells us not to covet what others have. Instead, we are to ask God for blessings.

"You lust and do not have, so you kill. You desire to have and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have, because you do not ask." (James 4:2)

Some Helpful Bible Verses About Blessing:
Psalm 35:27:
“Let those who favor my righteous cause, and have pleasure in my uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continuously, Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

Psalm 84:11:
“For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

John 10:10:
“The thief comes in only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance (to the fill, till it overflows).”

2 Corinthians 8:9:
“For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied).”

Deuteronomy 8:18:
“But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

Proverbs 3:9-10:
“Honor the Lord with your capital and sufficiency [from righteous labors] and with the first fruits of all your income; So shall your storage places be filled with plenty, and your vats shall be overflowing with new wine.”

Malachi 3:10:
“Bring all the tithes (the whole tenth of your income) into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and prove Me now by it, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

Proverbs 19:17:
“He who has pity on the poor, lends to the Lord, and that which he has given He will repay to him.”

James 1:27:
“External religious worship [religion as it is expressed in outward acts] that is pure and unblemished in the sight of God the Father is this: to visit and help and care for the orphans and widows in their affliction and need, and to keep oneself unspotted and uncontaminated from the world.”

How To Avoid / Overcome Sins / Temptations With Bible Verses

We all Agree that Human beings are naturally inclined towards sin. Everyone feels the urge to sin at some point because sinning gives us tangible yet fleeting benefits at the cost of moral and spiritual ones.

It is well known that Temptation is the urge to sin. We're judged by the degree to which we thwart our temptations. Because of humanity's sinful nature, everyone, at some point, fails to resist their temptations. Luckily, we're never alone in our quest to thwart our temptations. In the words of the Bible: "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man." (1 Corinthians 10:13.

Today we share with you some most important ways which can be used by Human Beings to Avoid sins and temptations:

1. Identify your temptations and the personal flaws that create them.
Everyone has their own temptations. Though Jesus never sinned, even he was tempted to. (Hebrews 4:15) Spend a few moments self-reflecting to identify your personal temptations. Then, pin down the personality traits that lead you to temptations. No two people are exactly alike. Your temptations might resemble those of your friends, family, or other associates, but there's also a chance that they're unique to you.

2. Focus on God’s Word
The Psalmist wrote that he hid God’s “Word in my heart, that I might not sin” (Psalm 119:11). Reading, memorizing, and meditating on God’s Word will help you keep your mind and heart focused on Him, rather than on earthly temptations.

3. Do not love the things that belong to this world.
What we serve shows what we love. That’s why Jesus said believers cannot love both God and money (Matthew 6:24, Luke 16:13). John takes this one step further in 1 John 2:15, writing, “Do not love the world or anything in the world.” Avoiding sin means being careful not to direct our love and devotion to anything other than Jesus.

4 Keep Your Mind Clean
Psalm 101:3 “I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.”

Job 31:1 “I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?”

As the verse in 2 Corinthians reminds us, the battle for your mind is an active one. It is not something that you can passively win. You must work to keep your mind pure. The psalmist says that he would set no wicked thing before his eyes. Job covenanted with himself to keep his eyes pure because he knew that men are attracted by what they see. These two verses say that if we can keep our eyes from seeing things that are wicked then the likelihood of keeping a pure mind is greater.

5. Set reasonable goals for fighting temptation.
Your aim when fighting temptation should take into account the fact that, as a human being, you're incapable of perfection. Don't set an un-achievable goal like "I will never sin again." If you do, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Realize that you will inevitably sin again (and again and again). Set a realistic goal that takes this into account.

For instance, if you've been neglecting your child's vocal recitals in favor of nights spent at home watching TV, you might set a goal of never missing another vocal recital (except for emergencies) and of reducing your time spent watching TV every week by four hours. This goal is well within your grasp.

6. Stay Far from Sin
Try to avoid situations and places where you may be tempted to sin. If you have a drinking problem, don’t go to bars. If you tend to look lustfully at women, don’t go to the beach. The brother of Jesus encouraged Believers to “resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). Remember, God can guide you away from temptation: “When you are tempted, God will show you a way out” (I Corinthians 10:13).

Below are some Bible Verses Which Can Help You To overcome temptations and sins:
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

1 John 1:9

James 4:17
Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.

1 Corinthians 15:33
Do not be deceived: "Bad company corrupts good morals."

Romans 16:17
Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.

Mark 3:28-29
"Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin"

1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

1 John 3:4
Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.

Proverbs 4:23
Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life.

Galatians 5:19-21
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Romans 13:14
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.

Matthew 5:28
but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Proverbs 22:7
The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower becomes the lender's slave.

1 Corinthians 10:14
Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.

2 Timothy 2:22
Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.

Hebrews 12:1
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

Things God Want Us To Know And To Do In Our Daily Life

God's Love doens't end for us and He is always there for us. He Love Human Being and He want us to stay true in his Love. This is why He sent his only and Loved Son to save us from sins.

Today we share with you some Important thing which God want us to know as well as to do. Below are some of those thing which God want us to know as well as to do:

1. God loves you.
It has become very popular lately to make God out to be some sort of vengeful tyrant, angrily threatening to destroy whoever has offended Him today. Nothing could be further from the truth.

You can be sure that if an All-Powerful God wanted someone destroyed, they would be destroyed. More importantly, how can an All-Knowing God, who knows your every thought, your every wish, everything that has ever happened to you and ever *will * happen to you be offended by anything?
What is far more likely is the people trying to convince you of God’s angry judgment want you to fear *their * judgment, and more importantly adapt their way of thinking and do what they tell you to do.
Beware the difference between the Will of God and the will of men.
God is love. (I John 4:8)

2. God Want Us To Forgive One Another.
Whoever they are, whatever they did, forgive them. Chances are they didn’t do it on purpose, and even if they did: holding on to the negativity and anger is hurting *you *, not them.
How can you expect God to forgive you if you don’t forgive the people who harm you?

3. God Want Us To Love One Another
It isn’t enough not to carry grudges, although this is certainly the beginning.
You must Love One Another, truly. All Human action is designed to gain pleasure and avoid pain; and deep down inside everyone wants to feel loved, and feel important. This is a gift you can give to everyone you meet, freely and openly. Not unlike you can’t expect to be forgiven without forgiving others, you can’t expect to be loved without giving love, first.

There is no limit in the amount of love you can give to your fellow Human Beings. Once you realize that they are trying as hard as they can, and give up your own selfish attachments to how, and even if they should show love back to you, then you are free to be a living expression of God’s Love for the world and everyone and everything in it.

4. God Want Us To Be thankful.
It’s nearly impossible to be thankful and stressed at the same time. The Bible has so much to say about choosing an attitude of gratitude even in life’s toughest circumstances. We ALWAYS have reasons to be thankful, so instead of just telling God all that you need, start by thanking Him for all He’s already done.

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.“ 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

5. God Want Us To Stop Worrying.
When we worry, we create the illusion that our problems are bigger than our God. When we choose to trust God, even in the midst of challenging circumstances, God’s peace rushes in and chases away the worry and anxiety.

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

6. God Want Us To Be Saved From Sin’s Penalty
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way. Isaiah 53:6

There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death. Proverbs 14:12

For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

The wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23

Each of us will give an account of himself to God. Romans 14:12

It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment. Hebrews 9:27

7. God Want Us To Know We Cannot Save Ourselves
Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3

How To Pray To Jesus / God Effectively According To The Bible

Prayer, simply put, is conversation with God. The Bible says a lot about prayer, including Jesus’ words on how to pray (The Lord’s Prayer - Matthew 6:9-13).

The Lord hears the prayers of the justified and the humble. King Josiah’s god-fearing life, as recorded in the Old Testament, is an example of this. In 2 Chronicles 34:27, we see that a repentant heart gets God’s attention.

God wants to hear sincerity in our prayer, not vanity. As we pray, let’s determine to stay steadfastly humble before the Lord. Fortunately, God extends mercy to everyone who comes to Him in repentance, even those who get stuck in Churchianity, like the Pharisee. Bottom line: God is concerned with the heart of a person. So next time you go to God in prayer, ask yourself, am I humble or proud? Either way, it’s a chance to get right with Him.

Far too often, prayer is viewed as a “magic formula.” Some believe that if we do not say exactly the right things, or pray in the right position, God will not hear and answer our prayer. This is completely unbiblical. God does not answer our prayers based on when we pray, where we are, what position our body is in, or in what order we word our prayers. We are told in 1 John 5:14-15 to have confidence when we come to God in prayer, knowing He hears us and will grant whatever we ask as long as it is in His will. Similarly, John 14:13-14 declares, “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” According to these and many other Scriptures, God answers prayer requests based on whether they are asked according to His will and in the name of Jesus (to bring glory to Jesus).

These May Be A Proper Steps In Your Daily Prayers:

1.Take the time to pray. No matter how you pray or whom you pray to, it can be difficult to find time for prayer during busy times. One way to deal with this is to make prayer part of your daily routine, such as praying as soon as you wake up in the morning, right before you go to sleep, or before every meal. There is no wrong time to pray.

2.Know your purpose. Often, prayer accompanies a ritual, giving purpose to the prayer. It can be a lengthy fire-burning ceremony offering sacrifices to ensure good luck the coming season or it can be a simple, thoughtful utterance in thanks for a meal. It does not have to ask, plead, question or thank; all it must do is appreciate.

3. Read the Word. Have you ever had a one-sided conversation with someone who talked continually without listening to you? The conversation didn’t go very far, did it? We do the same thing to God when we pray without reading the Bible, His eternal letter of love and wisdom to each one of us on earth. Reading Scripture helps us get to know God. It brings life to our prayers.

If you want to have a more effective conversation with God, read Scripture. Let David’s words in the Psalms enliven your prayers. Stop in the Gospels to pray over a verse that strikes you, asking God to work that truth into your heart. Let the words of Paul’s letters give you specific prayer requests for yourself and the people you love.

4. Listen before you speak. For some people, setting aside time to be alone with God is intimidating. In fact, for many today, any time alone at all — no friends, no television, no phones — is unnerving. We are speaking to almighty God here. He already knows everything we need and everything we are going to say. So what can we even say?

One important thing to learn early on about prayer is that it truly is a conversation. Just as God really does speak to us in his word, he is also really listening when we pray. It may just feel like journaling out loud at times, but there is always someone on the other side of prayer. Jesus promises, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened” (Matthew 7:7–8). A real Giver, a real Guide, a real Host.

5. Get Into Prayers. This is the last step just after the above steps has done. Take your time now and Almighty God is ready to listen to your prayers.
